Liam Morgan
i've been trying to figure this out for a while as i'd like to mimic this technique one day. How are these videos filmed? I originally thought it was some sort of mount attached to the guy but ive looked into them and can't seem to find anywhere to buy one. I use a 550d by the way. Adam P Cohen
It's called a Snorricam. It is a chest mount/bodymount. If you search the web for a DIY tutorial or maybe look through some of griprigs photos you will definitely find a lot. Here's a video I found - https://vimeo.com/42276751 Good thing is the 550D is really light making a good candidate for this.
joshua gallegos
I believe Martin Scorsese was one of the first to originate the use of this camera technique in Mean Streets. Check it out
James O'Hara
Doggicam makes the body mount. Same principal as a snori cam. Gary believes he built his first. Either way his is a good piece of kit. www.doggicam.com
