Lubrication of Bolex gears

What it is better to use to lubricate Bolex gears (here a Bolex G16 projector) some of them are made of a material color "Chocolate" which does not appear to be in metal?

- Nothing at all?

- Oil?

- Grease?

I think the brown gears are phenolic. According to the G16 manual the gearwheels and claw mechanism are lubricated with 'ASEOL' grease, but you could probably use other high-temp greases suitable for projector gear trains. This one is popular:

Hello Dom,

Can you tell a person where to find a G series maintenance and repair manual? I own two G16s and a G816 that I would relish the opportunity to restore.

Sincerely, Respectfully,

Robert M. Ditto
