Hugh H Hatten Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I acquired a 4' x 4' frame made of 1" square aluminum tubes and would like to mount it to a c-stand. I am aware of mounting methods involving clamps and gobo's, but how does a Flip Flop Ear (http://www.filmandvideolighting.com/1sqtuflfleam.html) interface with a stand for mounting?? Thanks in advance for your insight! Hugh ps - first post
dan kessler Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 The square section slides over and clampsonto the frame, while the "ear" slides into thegrip head flange on the stand. These things work better in pairs, as is thecase when using them with butterflies.
Hugh H Hatten Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Oh....I figured it was something simple like that. Thanks so much! Hugh
