Drew Valenti
Hey all, I'm curious to know if there's an iPhone app out that will tell me the footcandle output of any number of different lamps. I used to have one called CineCalc but it is now defunct. My reason for this app is sometimes when drafting up equipment rental forms I would like to know (for example) how many footcandles I can get out of an Arri T12 at 20 feet away. It is a really handy tool to have. Thanks!

Premium Member Shelly Johnson ASC Posted November 1, 2013 Premium Member Share Posted November 1, 2013 Hi Drew, LightSource - James McGuire has done a good job with that AP. Also, PCam has foot-candle tables as I recall. Dave Eubanks has made a very useful AP there. Both APs are well worth having. I use them often. Boris Kalaidjiev
Sorry for digging up the old thread. Most of the Apps mentioned here I think are no longer supported and unavailable to download. I know there is the Arri Photometrics App but I find their numbers to be a bit on the optimistic side. Has anyone found anything else that is similar to the Arri one but with more lights? Cheers!
