Steve Carrera Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I purchased a Konvas 1KCP-8M camera a long time ago but never used it. It came with a battery that was custom made. I need to make a new battery because it appears this one doesn't work anymore. Can anyone help me? http://i.imgur.com/tO9ADYD.jpg - http://i.imgur.com/jM3fBaJ.jpg - that is a picture of the battery. I live in Southern California. How easy would it be to make a battery like this? What is the standard battery equipment for this motor? This is a picture of the motor http://i.imgur.com/JyMBWDg.jpg - http://i.imgur.com/3oLWjWm.jpg Can anyone help me find this battery or power supply for this camera?
Freya Black Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) That just looks like a lead acid battery. I suspect that if you get the red tape off you may well find the make and voltage etc is printed on the side under the tape. With a new battery be really careful to observe voltage and polarity. Depending on how it's attached to the battery you may be able to attach that battery cable that is taped on there to a new battery but again be careful to observe polarity. Steve Carrera Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 What is the standard battery and charger for this motor? I believe the motor is 17ep - 16apk. Where would I find a battery and charger for this or do you think its better to make another custom battery? Thanks for replying
Giorgio Taricco Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 No needs to start a new topic about that so: does anyone know if this battery would be good for the Konvas 2M camera? I have read that it needs 12V and 10 AH to work properly, the motor is the crystal 17 EP type.
