An old Angeniéux factory brochure I've got indicates 45.0mm diameter with thirty-six threads per inch.

That's weird that they would mix metric and US units. 36 tpi comes very close to 0.7mm.

 

Hi, Jean-Louis. It is strange. The main table of the brochure shows only the diameter of the front thread of the lenses, using symbols to direct the reader to footnotes giving the various pitches - two of them metric and two fractional. Glenn
