Scot McPhie
We're about half way through our short now which we're shooting with the Sony HVR-Z1P - it's a period piece about a convict on the run in Australia in 1849 - there's a fair bit on the web site about it but here's a few pics: Scot

Scot McPhie
Alessandro I don't know if we can adjust the knee on the camera - probably though I would think. Mark - nice work - we will be doing something like that on the final cut - I've been experimenting with giving it a film gamma and then desaturating it - it looks great. All these frame grabs are just straight off the tape and ungraded. Scot Edited May 6, 2005 by Scotness
Premium Member Alessandro Machi Posted May 7, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted May 7, 2005 Two issues if you don't mind my mentioning. You really don't want to blow out the whites because they'll never come back. If you can lift the knee than when you don't blow out the whites the lower end blacks will still have definition. Second, I don't know your story, and I LOVE the uniforms, but should they look so new?
Landon D. Parks
I agree, a few cycles in a dryer with some stones, ect would make the costumes look a bit more used. That is of course unless the costumes are suppose to be new.
