Thanks for that correction! John Box was the old man. I do recall that formula but have never actually tested it. Alternatively, he does offer many useful methods in cutting down light levels besides dimming. There's also some info in the ASC manual, the Box book will prove a little more practical in everyday settings. Very useful for someone getting into lighting.
