Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted May 8, 2005 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 8, 2005 Hi, Considering it cost just exactly as much as anyone else's, I fail to see the relevance. Phil

Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted May 8, 2005 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 8, 2005 It fell out of the mattebox - the one I have will allow filters to drop all the way through if you forget to do up the thumbscrew that holds them in. For the first time in five years, clearly, I forgot. "Wait, wait, nobody move, the filter's fallen..." "Where?" Scrunch. Wail. Phil

"Who needs AC...? --->Not me!" -_- Well now you can see ACs can clearly be helpful... You could've forgotten to tighten the screw... But I'm sure the 1st AC Or at least the 2nd AC probably wouldn't have forgotten. But who needs ACs when you can do it yourself. :)

Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted May 9, 2005 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) Oh, sure, I'll hire an AC to do up one screw for me! Still, it's not quite as bad as the time I almost ran a Jimmy Jib into a crystal chandelier the size of the one in Phantom of the Opera, which is probably my only other major slip in a good few years. oscar jimenez
Well, Who needs an AC anyway!!! that's an extra expense on budget. Me in my AC past times ( not so long ago ) have my credits for the following destructions: 1. Color Enhancer 4x4 (ouch!!! expensive one) 2. Tangerine Grad #3 (not that expensive, but has a value anyway!!!) Needless to say, Im very sorry for your filter. That's why I always add some gaffer at the bottom of Matte Box and sides , no matter how "secure" it looks, anyway it prevents light from bouncing inside filters. Sorry dude. Matt Pacini
You could always list it on ebay as a "special broken-window effect" filter & get $50 for it! (har har!). I'm joking, but I've seen people do this kind of thing, and get bids! MP
