Edgar Nyari
I'm looking to find (or build) a power supply for Arriflex 35-III, which uses a 4-pin XLR connector. As far as I've been able to tell, the standard wiring for the 4-pin XLR on video cameras is PIN1: ground/zero, PIN4: 12V +; pins 2 and 3 are unconnected. Can someone confirm that the same wiring is used on 35-III series Arri cameras? I'm looking at items such as this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Energy-Efficient-XLR-4-PIN-12V-5A-Power-supply-for-JVC-SONY-PANASONIC-Pro-Video-/321678932915?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ae58efbb3 Will something like this work? I'll get a proper batter pack for it, but I want to get something like this too, when used indoors. thanks
