hi

hope some more experienced guys are having an advice for me

for a documentary shooting on s16mm i have to decide which filmstock would be the best

we are going straight to telecine and until today it's not clear wether we have enough money for an expensive one

the place is a very small settlement of huts and only the leaders hut has current (think even not more than for tv)

i guess there'll be many inside-outside shots over the daytime with people staying more or less at the doorstep to outside (isn't that hell?)

which stock might be the best for such difficult conditions (and going to telecine) - e.g. expression tungsten with an 85 or daylight material?

should i maybe use lowcontrast filters (but which strengh)?

does somebody have experiences with such conditions and going to telecine?

thanks for any advice

mig
