Igor Trajkovski
After 1/8000th shutter are the cine values, from 8-128 fps. In a video i saw the values from 8, 12, 16, 18, 24 and there it stopped for the demonstration purpose.I wonder is there 25 fps?If not being trouble, what are the consecutive fps?ThanksIgor
Premium Member Jay Young Posted August 26, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted August 26, 2016 No, it jumps to 48 after that. If you are shooting normal subject matter, it wont really make a difference. The difference is literally .02 of one second. (1/48th vs 1/50th) If you are shooting very precise things or working in 10ths of a stop, perhaps it will matter and you need a different meter. Igor Trajkovski
Thanks Jay.The Minolta VF seems more suitable - 8, 12,16, 18, 24, 25, 30, 32, 64 and 128fps.I know, 1/48 and 1/50 are not that much of a difference...
Gregg MacPherson
Hey Igor, I have a VF and it does have the 25fps, but why does this matter much? In use, one may have to accept the sum of several small potential errors in the final readout. 24 vs 25 is a very small error (4%).
