Edward Butt
Can anyone think of any places where I can find old Eastman 100T 5247 stock? Alternatively, how can a similar look be created using modern film stock?
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted September 30, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 30, 2016 Film stocks start to deteriorate after 5 years in proper storage. So a stock made in the 80's, even if stored properly, won't look like it did back then. EXR is easier to find, is a lot newer and does have a more vintage/classic Kodak look. There was a whole bunch of it on ebay recently, but it wasn't stored properly, so it was too risky.

Site Sponsor Robert Houllahan Posted September 30, 2016 Site Sponsor Share Posted September 30, 2016 The 52 in 5247 means 35mm, I had some and ended up shooting it in my Eyemo I rated it at 25iso and it was pretty funky, I can probably dig up the shots in my personal archive.
