Luigi Castellitto
For users or expert of Fujica ZC1000: does anyone know if in the "old" or "new" model of this camera the detection of light (and result the move of needle) of the internal lightmeter also work WITHOUT pressing the shutter release in half way , but only with the selector on the "RUN" mode and not in "LOCK" mode?Thank you! Andries Molenaar
It is possible to switch on the lightmeter throught the DIN connection at the rear of camera.
Luigi Castellitto
Ah, interesting! This is possible with an electric modification or in other ways? If so, maybe in my machine it was made for best comfort? Maybe because the button in halfway is not convenient, there s always the risk of starting the motor. Daniel Henriquez Ilic
The spanish filmmaker Ignacio Benedeti Corzo knows a lot about Single 8 and the the Fujica ZC 1000. He published few days ago this entry in is blog http://mimundoensuper-8.blogspot.cl/2017/02/fujica-zc1000-manual-de-servicio-gratis.html regarding that camera and the maintenance guide of the camera. I copy his download link here : http://www.ibcinema.com/download/zc1000.pdf Edited February 16, 2017 by Daniel Henriquez Ilic
Luigi Castellitto
Thank you Daniel, I know Ignacio and his beautiful blog and site (and culture)! I had already downloded the maintenance guide, but with that I could not solve my doubt. I would talk with a Fujica ZC 1000 user. Thanks anyway! Marc Marti
Luigi, you need to press the shutter release halfway if you want to meter the light. This is positive, because thanks to that the batteries on the camera last a loooong time.
