Anthony Schilling
I think they made at least 50 cameras, but no one has made anything with it except for a few tests it seems? Has anyone put this camera to good use yet? It has audio but no sound films posted. The specs now say "timelapse capability" so maybe they updated the firmware? Andries Molenaar
Considering the superbe features (claimed by the owners) something should have come from one of these :)
Nicholas Kovats
Perhaps you gentleman missed this Vimeo posting. The Logmar is not a typical point and shoot Super 8 cartridge system and requires tedious careful threading which is not conducive to run and gun shooting. Anthony Schilling
Looks pretty rock steady and sharp. Have you tried any audio recording and sync?
Nicholas Kovats
The internal audio recorder is not functional at this time. I have seen a few private examples of very accurate double system sync. Very impressive. The motor linked main drive socket is essentially a digital servo motor with precision approaching 0.001 fps.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted March 2, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted March 2, 2017 Honestly, I haven't seen anything but tests from the Logmar's. I complained about this last year and someone said there were some projects in the works. I'm like guys... I got my LTR last year and it's arguably more expensive to shoot with, yet I've shot 4 short films and dozens of other smaller projects with it. Camera hasn't been sitting around much at all.. So there is no excuse. I would like to see the camera being used for some good instead of "ohh I've got a fun toy" camera tests. :P
