Stacey Miller Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Hi, my Dad is looking for tape for his Würker splicer. They don’t produce it anymore, can anyone recommend tape from another company that will work. Or is there a way to modify for example tape by Hama? Thanks so much
Leanne Summers Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Would something like the presstape for the old Kodak splicers work? https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-8-S8-MM-PRESSTAPES-SPLICING-TAPE-MOVIE-FILM-SPLICE-NEW-KODAK-PRESSTAPE/273769459405?hash=item3fbdee6ecd:g:i5oAAOSwXoJcah1N 1
Brian Drysdale Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 This web site seems to suggest that you can use Hama tape, it may be worth checking with them: https://van-eck.net/itable.php?lang=en&size=0&cat=plakpers&merk=172&type=S8 https://shop.van-eck.net/SF-0015.html 1
Premium Member Alessandro Machi Posted April 18, 2020 Premium Member Posted April 18, 2020 Hi Stacey. If you dad doesn't mind experimenting with unopened tape splice packages I would suggest doing a search on Ebay. Wurker tape splices, and see what comes up. 1
