charles meyer Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Hi my esteemed listmates, I need to video record our videos using a Canon EOS DSLR. Has anyone on the list used a Canon DSLR or any DSLR to video record? I'm trying to ascertain the correct (best) settings to choose. Thank you!
Christopher Santucci Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Stay away from any high contrast picture profiles, I can tell you that. "Settings" is pretty broad so it'd be hard to just list out all settings.
Premium Member Stephen Sanchez Posted April 17, 2021 Premium Member Posted April 17, 2021 Technicolor Cinestyle picture profile does a good job. You must download it and load it onto your camera. Otherwise, this video explains the in-camera approach. But Cinestyle I think is flatter.
Christopher Santucci Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Cinestyle is too flat with contrast all the way down. I used to use it with contrast set in the middle and it was very nice.
