Ben Kahn
Hi, I'm looking for advice on shooting Christmas/party lights without having them flicker on camera. Are their flicker-free lights specifically made for filming? What about LED vs. incandescent? Does that make a difference? Or is it just a matter of playing with shutter angle? Thanks for your help
Premium Member Gregory Irwin Posted March 29, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted March 29, 2021 Try experimenting with different shutter angles. You should be able to find one that reduces or eliminates the flicker. G
Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted March 29, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted March 29, 2021 If incandescent is available, get those. LED string lights tend to flicker quite badly.
