Using Kickstarter to raise funding for your project...my experience

I had mentioned in another post I was thinking about giving Kickstarter a try to raise some money to buy a film scanner. Here is a rundown on my Kickstarter proposal.

If you think Kickstarter may be of use to you, check it out. I detail the whole application process which can usually be completed within 2 - 3 days of part-time work. That is not bad if you are successful and can get tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars for your project.
