News
Meet the Gaffer's Luke Seerveld compares the diffused light quality and output from the ARRI M18, K5600 Joker 800 and a couple of Aputure 600d Pro's using 1/2-grid diffusion through a frame and an Octabank. Don't forget to show some love in the YouTube comments. 1
Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted August 9, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted August 9, 2021 I'd be interested to see how the colour differs between the HMI and the LED. It's not as if HMIs are actually paragons of virtue in all this, but that teal silk dress is a painful memory.
M Joel W
Also curious about hard light quality and punch at a distance. Looking at buying a 600D or old Joker 800. Would love for the 600D to look as good.

Another YouTuber, Andrew Locke, took a color meter to to the 600D at the end of this video:

What's hilarious is that the formulation that's being deployed in some six-colour lights as "lime" is heavily related to what would have been considered a reasonable white in 2011.
