Lance Lucero
Scored this amazing Keystone 8mm K27 Capri film camera at my local thrift store. This gem from 1958/59 works! It takes Double 8 film, which is a 16mm roll that shoots on both sides. Took me a while to clean up 60 years of grim, but it's ready! I can't wait to test it out!
Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted September 19, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted September 19, 2021 They're indestructible, those Standard 8 cameras. My favourite format. Congrats!

Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted November 11, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted November 11, 2021 Looks pretty good! I love the flashes and how the image slowly dissolves when you flipped the roll half way too. A Standard Eight signature. Different cameras all had slightly different aperture shapes, by design so a camera could be identified from the footage. That one is pretty cool, with the triangle in the middle of the right edge and extending all the way between the perfs at left.
