Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
Something you don't see much of nowadays...a VHS Videotape Duplicator from 1987. (Press Photo) Do you think they saved any for museums or were they mostly scrapped? What type of VCR's did they use in the duplicator bank? How big a bank they could make? . Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
From a film collectors forum... "The largest VHS duplication system I ever saw was also in Southern California and consisted of 1000 VHS duplicators with wire baskets in from of them to catch the ejected cassettes. The system stood about 12 feet high. When the cassettes were ejected, all at the same time, the sound was deafening." Ken Horan Ken said he used to design and build VHS duplicators back in the day.
