Kaylyn George
I just received this Beaulieu R16. When looking through the viewfinder, it appears foggy at some angles and at other angles it doesn't. I have yet to purchase a lens for this camera. Is this fungus? And if so what are my steps to fix it? Thank you.
Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted November 11, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted November 11, 2021 Fungus usually has tendrils, that just looks like residue or some sort of contamination or coating damage. Accessing the viewfinder optics or ground glass to try and clean them is probably a job for a technician. It won’t affect the film if it’s in the viewfinder, so you could just live with it.
