Eclair ACL / LOMO KMZ 5.9mm f1.8

I recently picked up a beautiful Eclair ACL that came with a LOMO KMZ 5.9mm f1.8 lens. I understand this is a focus-free lens but I’m having a hard time getting it to appear clearly in my viewfinder. A couple times I have put it on and it has looked perfect, so I imagine it must be something with the way I’m mounting the lens. I’m not very familiar with this type of lens so any expertise would be greatly appreciated! Also, I have read the other ACL battery option threads on here, but does anyone know of a voltage safe battery setup that can take DTAP? Thanks!

Hey Nathaniel,

Can you put up some pics of the camera port adapter(s) you have and the rear of the lens showing the mount. Someone will look.  Not sure why you want DTAP connection on the battery. What's the connector on the camera, and the batteries you have. If DTAP's for a special charger etc, just make up an adapter cable.
