Sushanta Barman
Can we use slog2 or slog3 in Sony Alpha a73 or Sony fx3 during a night indoor or outdoor scene, I know that it create lot of noise but what is the case for Sony fx3. If I don't use slog during night scene I will not be getting opportunity for color grading as I need to shoot in neutral color mode without using slog. Please help me out with this issue. Premium Member Dan Finlayson Posted July 25, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted July 25, 2022 I feel comfortable using slog3 in any lighting scenario. Gently over-exposing makes a big difference for perceived noise and with the 12800 ISO as an option, I can't imagine a night scene where over-exposing by 1 stop isn't an option
Sushanta Barman
Ok Dan thank you very much I will experiment with over exposing 1 stop at 12800ISO
