Dennis Toeppen
Just wondering if anyone has a repair manual for a Cine Model K. It's a neat little coaxial 16mm x 100' camera. Mine is in sore need of lube. I'm reluctant to just start tearing it down with no guidance. I looked on YouTube and didn't find any CLA videos. Thank you. Dennis Toeppen
I got it apart, but destroyed it in the process. I didn't figure out that the rings that form the brownie-style viewfinder also attach the shutter housing to the case. As a consequence, I bent the main frame. Now I know how to get it apart. It's interesing just how crappy it is inside. Everything is stamped metal. I definitely prefer the machined castings of Revere/Wollensak and the machined billets of Bolex. I wish someone made a movie camera erector set, like a Radio Shack 50 in 1 experiment set. The movie erector set would have shafts, bushings, gears, shutter(s), claws, cams, servo motors, machined c-mount, and most importantly, a metal plane machine-gunned with threaded and unthreaded holes. Dennis Toeppen
Interesting. How long is the spring on Revere 101/103 at 24fps?

Dennis Toeppen
Wow, cool. Also, it doesn't suffer from "Bolex Sparkle", so it might be possible to use near people without getting sucked into conversations constantly.
