It’s fairly simple, a case of rotating the lens mount 180 degrees, but you need to be careful not to upset the shimming under the mount. If a shim gets folded over or damaged by a screw not lining up with a hole you can change the crucial flange depth.

At a rental house, the depth would always be checked after resetting the mount.

Also obviously be careful not to drop screws into the mirror cavity or damage the screw heads (use the right size driver).

The number at top right on the mount indicates the centering - 1 is Standard, 2 is Super.

You also need to flip the plate on the camera top for the viewfinder and re-centre the base plate rod brackets, as described in the manual.
