Appropriate filtration to convert daylight balanced film to tungsten?

The 80A filter… but you lose 2-stops of light with it, which is why no one shoots daylight-balanced film and uses a blue filter when shooting under tungsten to get a neutral image — they are more likely to use daylight film in that scenario because they want more orange out of tungsten or firelight.

I think the only case where the 2-stop loss of the 80A would be acceptable is if you are shooting day-for-night on daylight-balanced film and want a blue cast and have a lot of exposure from sunlight to cut down anyway.
