Kyle Farscht
I just bought a Source 4 750W on Ebay and I didn't realize that it has a bates stage pin plug rather than an edison. Does anyone know of any converters that are safe and can hand the 750W with no issue so I can go from bates to edison so I can plug it in to a household outlet? Mark Dunn
Just change the plug. I'd consider it an everyday domestic job with ordinary hand tools- it's less powerful than an electric kettle. There must be plenty of tutorials on Youtube.

Nicolas POISSON
If you are to use it in a professional context, you should replace the plug by a rubber one, as It might be required by local regulations. It could even end up cheaper than a plastic plug if you search in a "pro" shop.
