Selling my ARRI 2B setup. Comes with three lenses: 16mm, 75mm, and a Macro lens(all STD Arri mount). The lenses seem to be in pretty pristine condition. The camera also comes with three motors: two variable and one fixed. All motors work once placed on the flat base(comes with)however, it will not work if attached to the camera itself because the gear is missing. There is a little bit of a chip on the screw mount on one of the motors. Camera also comes with an extra door and sunshade. I will post pics up soon here. Looking to sell this ASAP, asking $300 for the entire package.

I've got an OKS-8 F:35 Lomo lens for a Konvas or Kinor. It's PL mounted. No scratches or fungus that I could see. It's pretty pristine. Selling this lens for $200. PM me if you have questions.

Anyone have any suggestions for a carrying case for my Konvas 2M?

Ok I tried hooking up the motor to the Cine 60 flat base and the camera works that way but when attaching the motor to the camera itself, it doesn't work. Am I missing something?

I recently pulled out my old Arri 2B and when I turn the motor on, the camera will not pull the film through. The motors are on and moving but it seems like movement is not moving at all. Is there something I can do on my own, ie lubricant or something? Or will I really have to take this to a tech?

Jamie's right, make friends because the more friends you make the more connections you will have. Utilize the equipment, get your friends and just go and shoot...shoot...shoot!!!

I also went to SF State for Film for two semesters when I figured out that no one there was really that interested in making films. Like Satsuki said, most of the students were spacing out in the back of the room or when I was there there were a handful of students just mainly interested in the theory of film and filmmaking rather than actual production. I currently go to Academy of Art and I do have to say that its pretty cool because it is technical and we have access to equipment and there are some great teachers.

AC magazine is not a place for gossip or tabloid stuff, its there to provide information on the craft of cinematography. So like it has been said before, the incident between Shane and Bale has no place in this particular magazine.

Bruce is probably your best bet because I don't know if there is a company here in the US that would convert the camera to 2 perf. Believe me, Bruce does wonderful work and isn't as expensive as some other places.
