  1. I thought there were some great shots. The only thing that got on my nerves a little was the lack of backlight on the main fighter but mostly on "death" when using black clothes and black hair, I've been taught to backlight the hell out of them to punch then out of the background. Also thought you could of worked the background alit more. Maybe a little more stylized nice job though
  2. Just got back from this film. Cinematography alone was unreal. I've heard many people tell me that Asian films have great art direction which is why the cinematography is always to so good. But I have to disagree with that. Art direction helps the DP immensely but I feel if the film looks good its still the due to a large part to the DP. outstanding film. That's all I can say Don't want to generalize but just wanted to hear others options.
  3. Looks very nice. I liked the window lighting in the first part of the trailer and really liked the night scene in the kitchen with the blue gels. Very nice.
  4. Hey, I'm at Brooklyn now and I'm in Adv. Cinematography. Its great! Small school with limited budget for lights and cameras but makes you more harder and you get more out of the classes. Rik, did you have hornsby? I know he has been there forever. Jordan
  5. What about a strobe light? I'm sure you can control the time inbetween the light flashes.
  6. hey! The band stuff was a little too lit. The floor and the back wall seemed to be lit more then the actors. But the BW looked good!
