  1. Great effort! I particularly liked the foley artist's recreation of classic dubbed B-movies... All in all possibly the best use of 2 rolls of B&w SUPER 8 I've ever seen, and the hair in the gate - well, it all adds to the feel as far as I see it.
  2. Where did you get the transfer done?
  3. Who did the Telecine, and what machine did the use?
  4. Neil Young, David Cronenberg, Jack Kerouac, James Cameron, Glenn Gould, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Margaret Atwood ,Saul Bellow... All Canadian as far as I can remember. BTW I'm English, so therefore I hate the rest of the world, and despise myself and my nation, which makes things much easier.
  5. Todd only process neg - their processing and telecine are excellent, though costly. Blue Audio Visual and Widescreen are the easiest people to deal with direct in the UK, and as they both use the same labs the fact that Blue are significantly cheaper makes it a no-brainer. I've bought a load of films from them off the net, and they've always arrived promptly, so they would be my recommendation if you're in the UK.
  6. The 801 definitely works fine at 64T, I've shot about 15 rolls. Your problem will be with lightmeter batteries, as you are unlikely to be ablt to find 1.35v Mercury cells
  7. The cheapest deal that I have come across here in the UK is a process paid package for Ektachrome 64T for £18.99. I bought a few rolls a couple of weeks ago and have just got it back - looks great! Contact details are...... Blue Audio Visual 44 Duncan Street Islington London N1 0NY 020 7713 6865 They're just round the corner from Angel Tube in central London. I've had a look on their wesite but there is no mention of this deal whatsoever. When I went there they said that they were going to start doing process paid Tri-X and Plus-X, but I've know idea when. Next time I pop in I'll ask them - I really love the look of Tri-X in particular.
