  1. I have for sale a rare and sought-after Bolex anamorphot 8/19/1.5x lens adaptor. Designed for the H8 cameras, they've found new fame for the superb and distinctive look they bring when used on micro 4/3rds cameras. This one is in excellent condition - a few marks on the barrel to be expected with age, but the optics are clean as a whistle. It's easily mounted to any lenses with stepup rings or readily-available custom anamorphic adaptors. Images attached below.

There are plenty of reviews on the web, and some beautiful test footage from one here: https://vimeo.com/37044086. This is a fantastic, unique and cost-effective addition to any 4/3rd shooters lens set.

Price is US$975. Available to view in Hobart or Melbourne, Australia but happy to send internationally with Paypal fee and shipping additional. More images are available on request - as I can't seem to attach them!

    Cheers, Jonathan.

  2. I have for sale four Arri groundglasses. These are standard glasses, so from memory will fit a IIC or a 35III - but others might be able to put me straight on that. They're also great for many viewfinders, including the Kish UDF.

    1. 'TV' (4:3) with mounting bracket. In excellent condition.

    2. Another 4:3, no mounting bracket, some pencil marks where it has been marked up in a mystery ratio. Tiny mark bottom right, very clean otherwise.

    3. 1:1.85, marked up to 16:9 (?) A chip on one side from bad handling, but it doesn't encroach into the picture area. Good for a viewfinder, or general use. No scratches/marks otherwise.

    4. Probably a 4:3 but has been taped to 16:9 at some point. Apart from the tape residue (easily removed) it's in excellent condition too.

Each one has a case - happy to sell separately or as a set, pickup or post. The going rate seems to be $150 (AUD) each, and $100 for the one with the mark. They're eyewateringly expensive new. But let's talk - I'm happy to negotiate for a package deal, or if these prices seem out of whack. Postage will be from Melbourne, Australia. Cheers, Jonathan.

( ** I only seem to be able to upload images of 2 of them - message me for more images **)

  3. Thanks all - Olex's comment about ex-Russian TV lenses makes perfect sense as I got this lens from a TV station in Vladivostok a couple of months ago when I was there working on a documentary. So it seems it's for an Eclair ACL, and so I have no need for it. Time for eBay I guess... It has a hard case and is in mint condition - anyone keen?

  4. Hi All - I was wondering if anyone can help by identifying the mount on this LOMO 200mm lens? I think it may have belonged to a Konvas 2M but since I don't have one I can't tell. Markings on the lens are 'OKC7-200-1'.

    Many thanks,

    Jonathan.

  5. Hi there - can anyone recommend what brands of oil and grease are best to use for lubricating the Konvas 1M? I have read that teflon greases are good - does anyone have any brand names or suppliers?

  6. Thanks so much Olex - I'll send an email in the next day or so.

You can visit on my site and check infformation about electrical motors of Konvas cameras.

18EP-16APK motor have different speed control electronics and other style of electronics from 17EP-16 APK motor.

If you send me letter on olex@a-teleport.com, i can send you more technical ifnormation.

I have experience repair of 18Ep-16 APK motor.

This is motor have crystal sync speed 24 fps, 25 fps, and variable speeds ( not crystal sync ) up to 32 fps.

The motor use 12 v battery for speeds up to 25 fps and additional 12+ 3 v battery for speed up to 32 fps,

Have a few modules : crystal sync module, varuable speed module, battery control module, battery.

But, you need study of user manual up to connect battery, because, the conenct battery with reversal polarity distroy electronics.

  7. I recently purchased a Konvas 7M from a nice bloke called Sergei while I was shooting a documentary in Vladivostok. It hasn't been used for 10 years but looks like it will go OK. It has a 18EP-16APK motor and controller that I can't seem to find any info on - it looks like a 17 motor but with an external controller. Does anyone have any info on how I can get it going? A manual? Circuit diagrams? I can get Russian texts translated if need be - any help would be great.
