Hello, This is my first post and I have a question about shooting widescreen or should I say pseudo widescreen. I have a Sony TRV-900 camcorder and would like to shoot a piece in WS format. I know the camera is capable of recording 16:9, however I understand that I loose information this way. Is there an alternative, maybe an anamorphic lens adapter? While I understand this is a prosumer rig, I really want to get the best quality possible with this camera. FYI, the footage will be edited on Final Cut Pro. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
