I own and control a large amount of the most valuable half hour TV time on every NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX station and cable system and I look for products and companies I can put on national television....

My name is Bill SerGio, you can read about me in People Magazine at:
http://www.GeminiGroup.tv/article.htm

I am listed in the Marquis Who's Who in America. This is the real book you can NOT pay to be listed in. They select ONLY world famous individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement officially recognized worldwide.

You can see some of the over 100 Celebrity Infomercials I wrote, produced and own at:
http://www.GeminiGroup.tv/demoreel.wmv

I own an Ad Agency that controls the most valuable blocks of half hour TV time on every NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX TV station at the lowest prices and I have NO competition in this area. Here are 2 of my companies:

http://www.GeminiGroup.tv
http://www.StationBreak.net

A half hour of TV time on any NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX TV station costs me from $20 to $50. One infomercial can gross over $160 MILLION in 6 months and air as often as 7.000 TIMES A MONTH on every NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX TV Station.

How Much Does TV Time Really Cost?

The sale of all TV time is regulated by the federal government through an auction process and you must bid on TV time and it is sold to the highest bidder. The fact that I have always found most interesting is that it is actually a felony under the Rico Racketeering Act to issue a rate card for television or radio time and several mnagers at TV stations have actually been prosecuted under this act. Under federal law television and radio time are called negotiated price products. This simply means that they must be sold through an auction process. It was only in the last five years that the FCC really cracked down on stations, especially the cable systems.

When a station suggests $500 I can get the time for $15 to $150 about 70% of the time. Infomercial time on the NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX stations usually goes for $15 to $350 for any half hour. And on a national cable network that airs in 50 states, the whole country with 37 million viewers usually sells for a bid from $900 to a maximum of $8,000. Once an agency buys that time from the station or cable system it can then be re-sold for any amount of money and no auction process is required. In my experience, many of the ad agencies I know will bid 2 to 3 times what the station suggests as a starting bid to make more money from their 15% commission. An agency would bid $2,500 for the same half hour I can buy for $50. In New York, the number one television market, the spread is so large that I won't even tell you for fear of losing credibility.

To air any non-infomercial entertainment show you buy the infomercial time and you sell the 30-second Spots or Product Placement in a show to advertisers. Remember that 30 seconds costs 20 to 100 times MORE than a half hour because when the station sells 30 seconds they must supply the program to fill the half hour.

About Bill SerGio…

• Producer & Director. I have directed over 100 Famous Celebrities in over 100 Infomercials. Experienced negotiator in areas requiring exceptional skill in scheduling, and resolving conflicts with difficult union crews & temperamental celebrities. Personally negotiated with and directed hundreds of Famous Celebrities directly.

• Green Glow Necklaces. I invented those famous "Green Glow Necklaces." I was robbed in Harlem one night by some black kids. Robert, the leader of the group that robbed, seemed liked a good kid. I decided to help these kids so I told him I would come back to Harlem the next day and show them how they could make money without stealing. I had read an article about an American Cyanimide product called Cyalume Light Sticks, a plastic tube that glowed green. So I Bought 1,000 Light Sticks at 50 cents each, bought dry ice, thin plastic tubing, solid plastic rods, and some small metal balls, and showed up on a Harlem street corner. Robert and his friends showed up and I explained my idea. We opened the sticks and poured the green glowing liquid into a bucket cooled by dry ice. We all sucked up the glowing liquid into the thin plastic tubing that I cut into 14 inch lengths and we sealed both ends with a ball bearing, and one short piece of solid plastic rod so you could close the tubing around your neck to wear it as a Green Glowing Necklace. There was a concert in Central Park where we went to sell the Necklaces. We sold over 10,000 necklaces in a few hours and made $60,000 cash that I let the kids keep. I asked a friend, Mick Jagger, to help me contact bands and we sold necklaces at concerts and parks. Robert & his friends got 50% of sales and we did over $14 MILLION in sales. The kids who robbed me, all became millionaires.

Over 100 Publications Have Written Articles About Me
• Time
• Newsweek
• People
• Wall Street Journal
• New York Times
• TV Guide
• Money
• PC Novice
• Videography
• New Woman
• Cosmopolitan
• National Enquirer
• Chicago Tribune
• Entrepreneur
• Star Magazine
• The Globe
• Weekly World News
• Over 100 others...

I Have Appeared On Over 100 Television Shows for My Infomercials
• Johnny Carson Show
• PrimeTime
• Inside Edition
• 20/20
• Good Morning America
• 48 Hours
• Ruff & Company
• People Are Talking
• Geraldo Rivera
• NBC Nightly News
• Kelly & Company
• Hard Copy
• Clive James Show
• CNN
• Over 100 others...

`|||/
(O O)
__ooO_(_)_Ooo__|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|
|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|
____|____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|____
__oooO Oooo ____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|
__( )___|( )|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|____
( ) /
_) (_/

  1. No, the cameras were not linked in any way for either test. I tried to take a still picture of the video from my editing system (a media 100i) but you can hardly see it in a still picture. It looks like they are cycling.. like white lines at 45 degree angles flowing over the screen giving a wave-like appearnce. I did read on the iNternet that with SONY 537 cameras the capacitors go bad and don't filter properly and produce what is called a "moire effect" but i am not sure if this is such an effect. The cameras were bought from a company that I trust--they buy 537s from SONY that were never sold and both have about 100 hours on them each. I want to say thank you very much for responding--I have everything invested in shooting a few infomercials for some products I invented and that's why I bought the cameras.

    betacam sp vs. dvx100

I have shot on both formats and there is NO question in my mind that Betacam SP BLOWS away DVX100. You should look at both, side by side on a monitor. The picture will depend on the camera you use and you must black out or stripe the Betacam SP tape--record black on the tape to prevent dropouts BEFORE using it.
  3. Hi, I have 2 SONY 537 cameas shooting BetacamSP that I just had checked out with a technician who said they are both adjusted correctly. I have a set consisting of 2 director chairs with a black muslin back drop. I am only using Flourescent lights at 5100 degress K to lite the set. Both cameras are recording a set of wavy lines over the black areas of the backdrop. On one camera records almost a perfect picture with only barely noticeable wavy lines over the black areas and the other camera with the exact same settings records an image where the wavy lines over the black areas are very noticeable. I thought it might be the flourescent lights but I took both cameras outside and videotape an old sign that has white lettering on a black background, and I still am getting the wavy lines over the black but not as noticeable outdoors in sunlight. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Desperate!
