Hello, Sorry for the little off topic, but is Nikon supplying glasses for any cine lens company ? Thanks, Eden. -
Hello, May I ask you your opinion regarding the Dalsa? I was given a demo at a meeting and the tech guy show how much details he could get from a blown-out sky, and that's really impress me, seemed just like an HDR done with my DSLR. The output is 16 bits though. Thanks, Eden.

Hello, Yes, that was what I mean. Thanks, Eden.

Well, this is a fast solved problem... Thanks all for the clear answers : That was the point I missed when I've recalled articles in instructionals photography book... Sometimes I feel so dumb. I definately get it, thanks again folks for your time and experience. Eden.

Hello all, I was reading the small document Exposure Meters and The Cinematographer, by Gerald Hirschfeld, A.S.C, when I came along this excerpt : Let's imagine a bright, snowy landscape with a clear blue sky. Following a logical way, I conclude : If the meter show f:16, then using this stop will cause the snow to be given a grey tendency; so in order to keep the pure and fresh white of the snow, I have to compensate the exposure shown by opening one stop. Before reading Hirschfeld I could bet my house that I was right. But I'm afraid I'm not and worse still I can't figure out where I'm wrong. Maybe a misinterpretation of the document? I think I've missed the point here. Maybe someone to get me out of this problem? Thanks for the help, Eden.

A little tricks for flipping (well rotate 180) the reversed image on a Z1 is to glue a small magnet near the LCD attachement. Something like that : Unfortunately it seems not to work with a DVX100A and HVX200... Thanks Fabrice Richard for providing us the tricks and the picture. Eden.

Yes, that was the conclusion. Also it seems that you would loose even more with the MovieTube system... Eden.

Hello Robert, I was "loader" (well P2Cards) on a video clip, we were shooting with a HVX200 + PS Technik 35 Mini Converter mounted with Cooke S4's (T:2). Our DP approximated the sensibility of the whole system of around 64 ISO fully open (Recording mode 720pN, cine-like gamma, shutter 1/50, 0dB). The DP first choice was the Zeiss SuperSpeed (T1.4) but unfortunately the set wasn't available for the shooting... Sure this extra stop would have been welcomed! I hope this helps. Eden.

Hello, I'm a bit lost : in their article "Why 2-Perf" Abel Cine Tech affirm : Is that a mistake or just marketing? Thanks, Eden.

Right, according to an Arri Mag, Kuchler did use Master Primes and Ultra Prime 8r on some shoots. -
Thanks Brian for the historical explanation!

Hello Max, The light coming out a lens is split by a prism into the 3 primary Red Green Blue right? Since the prism is located into the body of the camera, I can't get why B4 mounted lenses wouldn't focus colors on the same plane? Maybe I miss something? Thanks, Eden.
