For the detail 2 he wants to at -99 my questions are first whats the use of the detail 2

and at the menu the detail 2 goes at -143

The standard th16x5.5 is pain in the ass wide open too much ca and very soft.

Hi guys,

I bought an Arri IIC recently. Unfortunately the belt that I got with it is an old Cine60 that appears to be a 12V not a 16V.

 

I have the Arri VS motor. Where can I get a 16V belt or battery for a reasonable price? There is a local shop that will make me a 16V block but they want to charge me $1300.00 for just the charger alone.

Hi i just finished a project and the additional scenes were shooted with an arri 2c at 24 fpc with the old constant motor the power battery was a 12 volt with no problem at all. From 25 fpc and up i thing you mast use a 16.8 battery.

does anybody know who does 2 perf, claw and shutter conversions? i think ive got a 2a and want to make some changes...

Per the manual I have (which is only a couple of weeks old) and from my playing with the camera recently, I don't believe that Vista 1 & 2 are available. So, I would suggest that you - as you'd likely do for every project anyways - shoot a framing chart and set the variable markers to that. The VARIABLE setting is under the ASPECT setting in the U04 menu.

 

I would recommend that you do actually shoot the chart and hand that footage over to post so that they know what you were framing for in camera. Hope this helps.

I will do it as you say with the framing chart.

I have a shooting for a feature film in six days and iam going to use sony's f 23 for first time in my life.

The suport from the sony is very good but i am shooting outside of my country and i am having a small

problem with the language.BTW Ican't fint the markers 1:165 or 1:185 or even 1:239 for the vf. Does any one knows where are they and if the camera is able to do that. The is no Vista1 or Vista2 like cinealta or

i mist it.

You can also shoot full progressive 50p but your resolution will be limited to 720x576. This format is called extended definition and handles motion better than high definition 25p.

Hi

don't try 50p untill you are sure that your nle can handle that format. Just shoot 25p hdv to get the best of this camera. Using prime cine lenses and mini 35 you wouldn't get sd resolution from that camera.
