Hi i own an arri iic and i didn't wanted to spend alot of money to convert the mount to pl. I went to a torn mechanick the camera and we have done a patent, we create rings for my nikon primes. We where lucky and the resalts are prety good. I agree that nikon primes are not for focus pulling, but the image is sharper and the colors are deeper than the old schneiders or cooke (but the cooke are preety good for portrets). BTW i am a fun of the image created by zeiss, sonar ,planar, distagon. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH :blink:

Hi last year i testd some footage from fx1 for transfer to film. About a feature snall badget movie. The resalts of cineframe was not good at hall. The image lost the depth of the colors and a lot of sharpness during the transfer of course. I tryed a lot of difrent transfer labs an the resalts were about the same. Finaly i used 50i (europe) and the image looks better after deinterlasing in post. The dvds from the project looks pretty nice at cineframe exept when the camera moves alot looks blury. Hi i thing that is about the same npr is an old camera (with, for me, beautiful picture). A new convertion of the camera must be tested very well and at your hands (to know all the broblems before you sell it so the byer can ask you about. For a proper trade you might need some time.

this camera is a gift from an old camera man. i was his assistant 8 years ago and he gave it to me as a gift. I have use it for about 6 yers . The conversion said to me that was made by arriflex in germany thats why the camera by the side wrights arri bl s16. thanks for the link :)

i have just fished a short film in greece the image looks so perfect . the project transfered to film 35mm the technisia who did the transfer didn't beleve that i have used a camera witch costs 5.000 euros. the settings that i have used: black normal picture detail + 5 black strech -2 color max gama normal color matrix stantar (i have dan some work with the color matrix settings) knee auto hdv 25p edited used avid liquid
