  1. Check out the XC 555, XC 777 (Black and White), and the XC 999, those are all sony cameras, if you don't like those you should check out the ELMO cameras. Are you renting these cameras or are you planning on Purchasing them?
  2. It did remind me of an episode of 24, I was speaking about the lighting and the overall feeling of the movie. I don't really know what to say about the movie, i'm not a big fan of Michael Mann, and I did not enjoy the story too much. But as far as how the picture looked on the screen, I would say it looked good, not great, but good, the thing you have to remember is that they had about 12 db of gain on at times, and the noise is all intentional.
  3. As far as I know Sony has not done anything to fix this problem, I may be wrong. But if you need a quick solution to this problem you should check if your rental house carries a back focus alignment device, like the Zeiss Sharp Max. They are very easy to use, and they are the quickest way to adjust the back focus on your lens. If your rental house does not carry one, you should ask them to get one for you. They don't cost much, so i will assume they do not rent for much either. Good luck with your commercial.

"I experienced that the interforcus of the digiprime almost looks like a small zoom. I don't like it that much! It is mostly on the Digiprime zoom lens." The Digiprime zoom lens? do you mean the DigiZoom? Are you sure you were using a Digizoom? As far as I know, we have not started to sell the DigiZooms yet. I am just curious to know which lens you had that problem with.
  5. From what you described it sounds more like something happend to the DPR board in the camera, not a glitch. Which rental house did you rent your camera from?
