  1. I am a Romanian cinematographer at freelance, now based in Copenhagen. This is a narrative work selection dating from 2004 when I entered film school, up to the present. Mostly short films, but also my first feature. feedback welcome, enjoy! http://vimeo.com/16035809 http://georgechiper.blogspot.com/2010/10/my-new-show-reel.html
  2. http://www.viddler.com/explore/george_chiper/videos/1/ An edit of the school films I made as a dp, during the first 3 years of study at "The National University of Drama and Film", Bucharest , Romania. It includes various origin formats as 35 mm, Color process, as well as B&W, 16 mm B&W, HDTV, HDV and DV. I'm also looking for a site were I can upload free of charge the quick time/ **.mov file. Any comment is welcome, I really need some feedback.
  3. You can use a kino 4 bank with diferent tubes (tungsten and daylight), and ad some gells on two of the tubes, then you can turn them on randomly, to get the the color change, and you can also can increase the light by switching on 3 or 4 tubes, or decrase it by turning them off.
  4. I'm doing today a telecine for a short student film shot in b&W, kodak double x, and i spoke with the postproduction house and they can put my material on hdd tape and/or hdd, I don't know if is worth it to spend the money on a tape, it's 70$, or better buy an hdd. And a second question do you know how much space I need ie.GB for 30 min of negative, the machine is a spirit. Sorry for all the questions but I'm a sudent and it's the first telecine on hdd, if hdd is the best solution.
