No the take-up side stays as it is. You must use a 2" core. Make sure to bring a spare 400 foot can and dark bag because the exposed roll will be too big to fit in the 100" plastic box.

I've ordered these from AbelCine LA in 2005. Just the metal part you outlined is about $60. Each of the parts in 02-612-00 could be ordered separately. My contact was Mr. Girvan Calder. Cheers, Jean-Louis

Can someone identify lens mount please?

Arri bayonet. -
This is only found on the Bolex H8 8mm cameras. 8mm film could be purchased in 25, 50, and 100 foot lengths and the guides could be adjusted at three different positions to keep the film from unraveling.

Holder for clapper light. Connects to the MST motor. Has no use today.

Sounds like you have the very first version of the 2008 which used four flat NiCd cells which are obsolete now. I think you'll have to start looking for a way to hook up an external power pack.

Definitely easier to work with a Reflex camera. Having 3 prime lenses is a plus. Check if the 16mm and 25mm lenses are marked H16RX. This is preferred.

These two are RX.

What is a good Bolex camera for a newbie starter?

Looks like a great kit. Very nice lenses. -
On the super8france.com site, they say thet sell single-8 film stocks from retro-8.

You could always use a Nikon to C-mount adapter.

Lenses with a focal length between roughly 8mm and 12mm will give you the same field of view. A Kinoptik 9mm f/1.5 lens is recommended for super-16 if you can locate one and can be found in Aaton and Arri mounts for your camera. Both Rokinon and Samyang make a 10mm f/2.8 lens in Nikon mount designed for APS-C sensors so it will cover super-16 fine. Price is affordable too.

Ideally, try to get a late model with the 13x viewfinder which will be either a late RX5 or SBM. The electric cameras are also good candidates. Cost to convert bayonet mount cameras are slightly less than turret cameras (less work). If you're planning on using Zeiss super speeds at their full open aperture on the Bolex, you will be disappointed. When stopped down somewhat, results may be acceptable. Stick to Kern Switar RX type lenses for wide and normal focal lengths.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's a very early LEMO connector. I can look it up. -

If you're referring to the original Scoopic 16, it's a Hirose connector part number RM12WBP-4S(71). Digikey has it as part number HR1793-ND. The cable clamp is sold separately. -

Run the camera with some dummy film and observe the loop. Does it remain constant or gets smaller after a while? -
