  1. Thanks for checking it out! I was thinking of adding a photo to the background that would dim when the mouse moved over it so you could still read the info. I'll play around with it and see what works.
  2. Hey, I am from Halifax N.S. and am currently seeking new opportunities. I have updated my website and portfolio: http://bradleymedia.ca/html/cinematography_portfolio.html Any comments on my website/portfolio or working in Canada would be appreciated. Is anyone else having a hard time finding work here? Thanks, Cody
  3. Just released this years motocross vid, "Crossing The Line". Check out a clip from the movie. http://destroyerfilms.com/html/movies/cros..._line_clip.html Feedback appreciated. Thanks, Cody
  4. Hey, Thanks for the feedback on my last reel. I finished reworking it to give it more energy and suit the subject better. I know its all motocross, but those are the projects I have been working on for the past few years. Do you think it works as a sports reel? I also finished my resume. Let me know what you think. http://destroyerfilms.com/Movies/Reel.mov Thanks, Cody
  5. The Golden Dogs did this in their video for Construction Worker. There is a better quality version on the web somewhere but I can't seem to find it. It's towards the end of the song.
  6. Thanks Steve, thats exactly what I needed. I have tons of footage and will try to change it up. The motocross videos I make are usually cut to a more rock and roll tune but I wasn't sure how to put a reel together in order to showcase my footage. Thanks for the advice Cody
  7. Hey, I'm putting together a sports/motocross documentary reel and looking for some feedback. It was all shot while documenting the National motocross series this past year. Pick it apart and let me know what you think. http://destroyerfilms.com/Movies/Reel-3rd%...H.264%20LAN.mov Thanks, Cody
  8. Hey guys, we just released our movie "This Is It" and launched a new website. We also released it in a downloadable format and are looking for some feedback. www.destroyerfilms.com Thanks, let us know what you think Cody
  9. We are a small production company just getting into some bigger projects and would like some help with putting together an estimate for a client. The client is a motorcyle race team and what they want from us is to produce a video yearbook over the summer that they can give to all of their sponsors and sell in their store. We will be traveling with the race series across the country filming for our own dvd which will be released at the end of the tour in the fall, so we will be able to get a lot of our footage for the yearbook project over the summer. The only extra traveling we will have to do is two trips to their race shop over the summer which is about 14 hours per trip. We need to know what something like this would cost them for a production company to come and produce this and how to charge if the client were to sell the video. Thanks for your help, Cody
  10. New interview with the Blackfoot motocross race team. Check it out http://destroyerfilms.com/Destroyer%20Film...foot%20Vid.html Let me know what you think. Thanks, Cody
  11. We are using Final Cut Pro for our editing. The flashes are a "dip to color" transition. Play around with the softness and thresshold settings to get the look you want, and make the transition short. Glad you liked the video, Cody Destroyer Films
  12. Check out our new vid and website and let us know what you think. It was shot on an XL2 in 30p mode with some custom presets and edited in Final Cut. Destroyerfilms.com
  13. It only stopped working after I tried to capture with it. Now it wont display a picture when I play back tapes, or record anything. Not even the timecode is displayed. The camera says it is playing but nothing shows up. Also tried other tapes with no success. Seems like a head problem? Could it be the tapes I was using. They are Fuji 60 min tapes.
  14. After trying to capture footage from my XL2 with FCP, the camera acts like it has no tape in it. It displays no timecode and wont play back what was recorded on the tape. It wont record anything either. I tried taking tape out and putting it back in but still wouldnt play. Camera is brand new so i dont see what could be wrong with it. I am using the newest version of FCP and everything is updated. Thanks for any help
