  1. Isn't that just about everybody in the industry here, in Philly? We're all Gucci glasses and cheesesteaks, yo. Ha.
  2. ... and you can never have enough of them it seems! (Hi Rory!) I have found the Ultralight parts also do double duty for rigging smaller cams or LED lights in / on vehicles with 2 and 3 point support using suction cups and mini-carde ends. As far as lcd support goes, they do take a few more seconds and sometimes - 2 hands to reorient... but that reflects stability and acts as an effective deterrent for non-camera dept hands touching or moving your gear. I have never had luck with "magic arm" supports as a sturdy or long term (multiple jobs / years) solution. As far as price, I've prob got close to $1k invested in my Ultralight "tinker toy" kit with each job's kit fee paying for a few new parts. From an Operator and AC perspective I don't regret the investment. ;)
  3. I've used the padded side to clean dry-erase follow focus marks off the lucite wheel in pinch. I have two of these things and I think they're sort of useless- maybe you ended up with one of mine (?)- enjoy. The brush end looks to be a stiffer synthetic which, as you suggest, could do more damage than a softer natural fibre. I have found the lens pen very handy for wedging into self-locking fire doors, when ducking out for a quick smoke. - MJ
  4. Wow, Wheels- nice looking stuff. You've consistent proven to that you have a very sensitve and subtle approach in your lighting. I look forward to working with you again soon. Let me know when you have a final copy of this. You mentioned your digicam was at 200, do you recall what filmstock this was shot on? Better and better, man- Keep up the good work! - MJ
