Hello, Im a 14 year old filmmaker and love it!!! Anyway today my camera broke and I need to upgrade. I have $1500 to spend. Should I buy the Hv30? I am going to do a film for tropfest jr soon, so u might see me in the finalists lol.

I am going to put some work in "critique my work" and I dont know how to put images up. How do you do it?

I am entering tropfest jr this year, AND I AM DETERMINED TO WIN!!! I saw the the tropfest jr last year, and I think I could do alot better. Where do you live?

Hey im thirteen and i have been into cinematography for a couple of years and i love it. I am going to do a film for next tropfest jr and I was wondering what the cheapest way to make a crane is, or are there any other cheap options to get high up. I need it to just to dolly through branches and reveal a boy building tree house. :D

Hey i am 13 and have been into cinematography for a couple of years, and i love it soo much!! but i got one problem, I always got the same look. It's a bit hard to explain. I am getting some small flood lights soon, and i think that could give it a better effect, when i use them. Yea so is there ways to change the look with just natural light? I think I heard of some pale blue card to give the skin warmer tones, what is it and does any one know where to get one. :D

I am 13 and i have been into cinematography and directing for a couple of years now, I want to be as good as that some day. I am always a bit confused with lighting because I have read about different places to put the lights but I cant find anything to help me to know when to put them in that spot. Got any tips? I cant put any videos on "critiqe my work" cause my friend wont let me, but i will pursuede him soon, and if i cant i will just do it anyway cause i need to know were I should work on. :lol: :D :rolleyes:

I'm a 13 year old cinematographer and film director ( I got awesome work and i am going to post it) any way i am very inspired and i am guessing it was done in australia, which was awesome to cause i live in australia. thnx alot, inspired a lot, its great to see awesome aussie work. well hd is good but I would mix footage, because it would give the editor more editing options. But be carefull if his footage is bad and yours is good or vise versa because the editor would get annoyed, because half the footage is crap and he has to find the good footage. Also if he isnt a good editor there would be bits that are crap and bits that arnt in the finished film. so have a look at a bit of the other guys footage before you film. hope it goes well. oh wats some of the films you have done so i can have a look.

I am doing a short for tropfest jr and does anyone have any tips. I am a very good cinematographer for my age because my dad tought me. :D

for the wall try licra because it doesent wrinkle and there will be a faint line were the wall and floor meets.get some light lime green sheets (note the licra has to be light lime green as well) and tape the sheet to the licra and put it along the floor.make the sheet curve were it meets the floor and wall,so there is no line. B)
