  1. Hey. It seems to me that many straight lines in The Life Aquatic are bended, creating a slight curve, is this an artefact of anamorphic that is unavoidable? To be honest, I found it quite distracting at times. Thanks.

  4. hi. is it true that a low t-stop (say 2.8) is not as sharp as higher stops like 5.6? why is this? are most films shot at one particular t-stop and lit accordingly to keep sharpness? thanks!
  5. hi. as far as i understand, wide angle lenses have better depth of field than "less wide" (do you call them SHORT?) - i'm wondering what the technical reason behind this is? thanks!
  6. hi. mostly i see the fuji and kodak names used when discussing film stocks. but i wonder, are they the only ones who provide film stock?
  7. Hi. This might be a stupid question, but if I have a wider lens ) say 16mm, will there be less visible vibration than on a 80mm if i'm say, driving in a car? Thanks.
