  1. Hello I was wondering if i could get an idea of what it would cost me to get 100ft of color 16mm film transfered to mini dv. I'm going to call the labs in my area but an aprox. idea would be great. thanx.
  2. I just want to save the heads on my camera.

    capturing

Hello do you loose quality if you capture footage onto your computer using a camera that isn't as high of quality as the camera you filmed the footage with.
  4. It doesn't have interchangeable lenses, It just has a bayonet mount so you can add lenses on the zooms lens like a century wide angle or a 16X9 attachment. The reason I want to know what kind of bayonet mount it is because i have a century .3 wide angle that fits on the sonyvx2000 and I am getting a Krasnogorsk-3 and I want to figure a way out to mount the wide angle on that.
  5. Is the bayonet mount on the vx2000 a regular bayonet mount. (if there is such a thing?) Or is it a unique mount that was made just for that camera.
  6. "Make sure the lens is set to Manual and you're all set." I assume you meant automatic. Is there some sort of attachment so that you can set the aperture manually
  7. Can this be done? Will the aperture work correctly?
  8. Does anything need to be repaired? Is the lens clean and scratch free?
  9. Hello I just recently purchased a 16mm 70-dr and it came with a 25mm f/2.7 Animar Balcote lens. My question is that it only has a ring for f-stop and nothing to set feet at. Is the lens constructed to always be in focus no matter what stop your using?
  10. Does anyone know a good dealer in Vancouver for 16mm short ends?
  11. Thank-you very much Nick and David for simplifying that for me. I love to learn new things.
  12. Hello, Forgive me if this is common knowledge but I've been trying to wrap my head around this for awhile. I have a sony vx2000 (30fps) 29.97 to get technical. If i am filming at 30fps with a shutter speed of 60 what would that be in terms of shutter degree. Now if i crank the shutter speed up to 500 what would it be in shutter degree. Is there some sort of chart or formula that is available to figure this out?

Hello your friendly neighbor from the north here, I've been trying to find a manual for a 70-DR on the internet(for free) to no avail. Thought I would try my luck with someone here knowing a link for one that I can download.
