  1. The only possible issue I see is the video tap. Do you have one? If not you need to get one obviously. Other than that it seems like it will be OK. Yes. Have the tap. Thanks for the input.
  2. Yes, I am aware of the weight. I have spoken w/ an operator and said the weight was no problem. The scenes are diaolog so we are preferring to not have to ADR, hence wanting to use the Kinor.
  3. Hello all in the Kinor Konvas forum!! I have an upcoming project, I am using a 35H and I am wanting to use steadicam. Any one out there had experience using the 35H and steadicam. What are the concerns/issues? What I know, and have, so far: I am using a set of the Lomo spherical 35mm lenses, and I am aware that the pitch of the gears on the lenses need to mesh with the gears on the remote focus pulling system. I also have the adapter for the magazines to position them at 90 degrees for Steadicam use. The power for the camera has also been converted to 4-pin XLR, but the camera electronics have NOT been updated. Any help is a BIG help, thanks!!!
  4. Sorry, not "forum." I meant another 'posting' titled "Good Kinor Sites" within the Kinor forum on cinematography.com. I just looked back to it and it was info on lubrication that you had posted before! But what you just posted had a few different things listed. I still need to sit down with both lists and work with it. Thanks again!
  5. Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at it with these directions. They are a little different than the ones on the other forum.
  6. Thanks for the information Steve. I checked out Olex's site, there was some good information, but I did not see any about lubrication. I did get in contact with Steve Morton through the site you provided, but again no concrete info about it. Thanks again, and I'll let you know if I find more sites and info!
  7. I've looked far and wide on the net, and have found essentially nothing about lubricating the Kinor 35H. I did read the information on lubing on the recent post titled "Good Kinor Sites." This is the best info I've found, but it didn't give me a good sense of exactly what to do. Does anyone have any good info on how to lubricate the camera and mags (if they need it too)? Is the lubrication process similar to a Moviecam? Does anyone have any photos demonstrating how to do it? Any information anyone could provide would be most helpful. I'm kind of at a standstill with the camera cause I don't want to run it without oil!!
