The cookes on ebay were a scam. I sold that set over a year ago and they keep re-appearing from scam sellers. I have since purchased a set or century re-housed speed panchro cookes Ser II/III and i love them, geoff boyle has extensive experience with the speed panchro cookes and has shot numerous commercials on them that are viewable on this site.

Hi i have an Arri SR2 HS for sale, it has many of the sr3 features and is painted SR3 grey , the mags upgraded with the SR3 rubber sides. 2 mags, batteries, vid assist elbow built into handle, just needs camera. here is some spec. You will find a nice Bolex El series III if you hang around and look on ebay. Great steady mech, lots of lenses available and adapters, runs to 54fps and single frame, can be easily converted super16, 400ft mags available and takes 100ft daylight loads. Crystal sync controller available, rock solid and pretty bomb proof, i've seen the BBC crash them in cars on stunts and they have come out practically un-scathed!!! cheap to service.

Les Bosher has worked on my cameras, and i recently sold a Bolex El to a guy which i sent to les for Super16 conversion, the buyer was very pleased. Les knows his onions and has probably converted more bolex to super16 than we've had hot dinners. Look back to earlier posts you'll find someone who had an EL super16 converted with les. To be honest, he's a superb camera engineer.

I have recently bought 1994 XTR, i have 2 mags one of them runs both ways and one of them one way only, any one know why this is? Also cannot seem to find manual for this camera. Everywhere i look is the prod download. I would be really grateful if anyone could help in some way. This is my first post, love the forum have been reading it for a year or so. Happy new year!!
