adam- I would make a vid on the correct way, but I haven't figured it out yet. =)

When I run the camera the loops go away, and it makes my film gate bounce around like crazy. Is this supposed to happen?

Hey everyone, I've been trying to get my K3 up and running. The problem that I'm facing is I'm missing the film guide and often the film will not run properly threw my K3. Since I'm extremely new to film I thought I would make a DV of what I'm doing. Can someone please give me some pointers? Am I doing this correctly? Thanks again for all your help. My 'How Do' video I can't embed.. sorry.

ok.. I put some test film in. Tried to run it, and the bottom reel wont turn. it seems like theres not enough strenght to turn it? Can anyone shed some light? thanks, dan

Its the black plastic(?) piece that the film guides threw. I'm extremely new at this so I hope I'm using the correct terms. Thanks again. dan.
