  2. Dose anyone know where I can find an Index for the American Cinematographer magazine articals. Like a PDF or Excel spreadsheet, I know the website has a listing as well as the December issue of each year but I was looking for something more searchable, Where I can type in the movie name and the issue pops up.
  3. I agree it was a good movie although not a "blockbuster" I enjoyed it.
  4. I just put some of my extra issues of AC up on ebay, if anyone is interested heres a direct link...http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwilc5231
  5. That was a great movie, I really enjoyed the Cinematography, Who was the DP on that?
  6. Is there softeware or a Photoshop / illustrator templet for the Credits you see on the back of a dvd? Where they list the director, DP, actors, producers ect..
  7. I've never seen it, I guess i should go rent it. Is there a special edition DVD or Directors cut DVD out?
  8. Yes, After Effects would work as well as others, or you could mask it but it would be more work.
  9. I prefer thr DVX also, If you want to see how it looks there a short called "broken" that was shot with the DVX, you can see the trailer at http://www.whatisbroken.com
  10. I ended up getting rid of my old web site the provider was doing redirects from it, so I put up a site on my space, the address is in my sig. I't would be great to get some feed back when you get the time. thanks
  11. The ASC website list all the back issues, I took a look but did not see them listed, I could have missed them though. Also check out the ICG website they might have it if AC dosen't
  12. When you start paying some but not others, the ones who arn't will start to get bitter and it will start to show in their performances, I would say pay them all or don't pay any of them. If she really likes the script and believes in the project she'll do it for nothing but credit.
  13. Has anyone seen Wes Anderson's short film HOTEL CHEVALIER? I thought it was terrible, its only 13min but it seemed a lot lnoger, I thought the cinematography was ok but the pace is what killed it for me. Any thoughts?
  14. Well I just see Next with Beil, Cage, Moore. Great movie, better then I thought it would be. I think it was one of Jessica Beil's better performances, What's the thoughts of others
  15. That was very good for your first job, It looked a bit pixelated, but I'm guessing that was due to the compression
  16. Dose any one have an idea of the DVD release date, I missed it when it was played in town.
  17. I really want to see it, but it might not come to where I live. I guess I'll have to drive a bit.
  18. So what are the views on "NEXT"? I thought David Tattersail did a great job. Some of the sceens were great to look at. The acting by Jessica Biel was probaly one of her best. Over all a pocorn movie, but I enjoyed it.
  19. Very nice reel, I agree abot the music though. The website is pretty plain but dose the job.
  20. I would say David Mullen, but I don't want to come off as a "fan boy" , But I truly love his work. I would say Emmanuel Lubezki, he's another one that takes chances and it pays off well.
  21. Yes, its very nicely done. A bit long for a reel, Your talent comes though nicely.
  22. This looks like it will be a good film, do you know the release date and how wide a release?
